Easy Homemade Whipped Cream

Serves: 8 - 10
- 1 cup cold heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp pure vanilla (optional)
- Chill bowl and beaters in freezer for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Pour heavy cream into chilled bowl.
- Add sugar and vanilla if using.
- Beat until thickened.
- Use promptly or refrigerate.
*I didn't use vanilla
**Sugar can be substituted with 1-4 Tbsp powdered sugar or 2 tsp honey according to the Joy of Cooking Cookbook.
